2009InternationalConferenceonFutureBioMedicalInformationEngineeringRemoteMonitoringInformationSystemandItsApplicationsBasedontheInternetofThingsJingranLuoInstituteofInformationPhotonicandOpticalCommunicationsBeijingUniversityofPostsandTelecommunicationsBeijing,ChinaIjrbupt06122@gmail.comYuluChenSchoolofInformationandCommunicationEngineeringBeijingUniversityofPostsandTelecommunicationsBeijing,Chinalulunnnn@gmail.comKaiTangSchoolofInformationandCommunicationEngineeringBeijingUniversityofPostsandTelecommunicationsBeijing,Chinaxiaoxiaoljr@126.comJunwenLuoInstituteofInformationPhotonicandOpticalCommunicationsBeijingUniversityofPostsandTelecommunicationsBeijing,Chinaxiaoyou2008881@gmail.comAsthetrendsofhealthcaresteppingintocommunityandAbstract-Thispaperprovidesadesignprogramtoachievetheremotemonitoringinformationsystem.Thesystemacquiressomedetailedphysiologicaldataofthefar-awaypatientsusinghuman-monitoringsensorchipsandtheInternetofThings,automaticallygenerateelectronicmedicalrecords,whichissavedintothedatabase.Besides,withthesupportofinformationplatform,thissystemcanfeedbackthecorrespondingdiagnosis,medicalprogramsandproposalsafteranalyzingthedata.TheSystem,whichrelyingonaZigbeeWirelessSensorNetworktechnology,hasachievedreal-timetransmissionofphysicalinformation.Andtheintelligenceofthesystemindataprofessingandinformationreleasinghasbeenlargelydevelopedbytheapplicationsofdatabasesandbothwirelessandwirelinenetworking.Thesystemhasmanyapplicationscenarios,suchasfamilyhealthcare,whichimprovespeople'sdailyhealthcarestandardandthelevelofhealthmonitoringintelligence.Meanwhile,itpromotesapplicationsoftheInternetofthingsinhealthcare.IndexTerms-theInternetofThings,WSN,InformationPlatform,RemoteHealthCareIntroductionhealth-orientedareincreasinglyclear,peopledemandbetterhealthcaresystem.Asaresult,realizationsofaremotehealthcaresystembecomemorevitalandurgent.AndtheInternetofThingstechnologywillbethebestmeansofitsimplementations.TheInternetofThingsnotonlyprovidesthehealthcaresystemforaspectsoftechnicalsupport,butalsowillsolvethecoreproblems-------collectingandprocessingtheremotemedicalinformation.Tele-monitoringinformationsystemreferstoaninformationsystemthatcanremotelymonitortheuser'sphysicalconditionandphysiologicalparameters.Inthispaper,aremotehealthcareprogramdesignbasedontheInternetofThingsisprovidedanditcanimproveintelligenceofinformationcollectionandprocess,whichwillpromoteapplicationsoftheInternetofThingsinthemedicalindustry.B.CurrentSituation[l]Intheareaofremotehealthcare,therehasbeenalotofresearchworkthathasachievedgreatresults,mostnotablyreflectedinthevariousmaturemedicalsensingtechnology.However,thesetechnologiesstillremainintheA.Backgroundpilotphase,farawayfromtherealpracticaluse.Restrictions978-1-4244-4692-6/09/$25.00©2009IEEE482FBIE2009towideuseoftheremotemonitoringsystemare:terminalequipmentcapacityandintelligencelevelofdatastorageandprocessing.Atpresent,theprincipalproblemsareasfollows:OverallsystemblockdiagramshowninFigurel.Theinformationsystemisdividedintothreelevelsaccordingtofunctions.IFirstClass:DistributedSensingUnit.mainlyconsistingofthedistributedsensornodesanddistributedPc.Eachsensorterminalperformsdatacollectionandtransmission.IISecondClass:Thecoreofinformationsystemsincludingdatabaseserversandwebsiteconstructionwhichcancompletethearchivingofinformation,analysisandreleaseoftheresults.I.Highcostinobtainingandtransmittingthephysicalinformationofremoteusers'physicalinformationinreal-time.II.Datastorage,dataanalysisanddataprocessinglackofhighdegreesofautomation,andstronglydependonartificialoperations.Inthispaper,aremotemonitoringsystembasedontheInternetofThings,utilizedhumanbodysensorchipsandZigbeetechnologycansolveproblemI,makingthesensornodesbeabletooperatereal-timecollectionofinformation.Furthermore,throughWSNwecanachievelow-cost,low-powerreal-timetransmission.TheinformationplatformbasedondatabaseandwebprogrammingcanresolveproblemII.I.SYSTEMDESIGNItisavailableforuserstoremotelylogin,forexpertstovisit,andtosetupearlywarningmessagepathwithinthethirdclass.IIIThirdClass:TheExecutingAgency,whichtakescorrespondingmeasuresbasedoftheresultsandIDofusersafterreceivingurgentwarningmessagesfromSecondClass.Withthehumansensingchip,thetele-monitoringinformationsystemmonitorsandtrackstheusers'informationinalongrunincludingtheuser'sphysicalinformation(temperature,weight,heartrate,bloodpressureandoxygen,etc.)andmotioninformation(speed,physicalexertion,respiratory,gaitandtrajectory,etc.).Withthehelpofmaturetechnologyindatatransmission,wecanachieveremotetransmission.InformationSystemsisresponsibleformakingelectronicmedicalrecordsafterreceivingthedata.Thenthedataaredepositedintothe\"archives\integrationandanalysis,werealizetimelydisplayofhumanhealthconditionandthediagnosis.Theinformationsystemsarehighlyintelligent,whichhelptoaccomplishpreventiondisease,self-diagnosis,healthcareandemergencyautomaticalarms.A.ZigbeeSensorWirelessNetworka.BriefdescriptionofZigbeeWirelessSensorNetwork.Accordingtothesystem'sworkflow,thesystemi
